Lanic Korea, under the leadership of CEO Oh Se-Hyun, organized a significant meeting on September 28, 2024, at Jejuyangdon Nonghyup (제주 양돈 농협), bringing together Thailand’s CP Group delegation, Jejuyangdon Cooperative members, and local farm owners. The purpose of the meeting was to explore collaborative opportunities aimed at enhancing Jeju’s pig farming industry, with a focus on expanding sustainable practices and boosting market potential.
CP Group, a global leader in the agro-industrial and food sectors, participated in the discussions to investigate potential partnerships with Jeju’s renowned Black Pig farming community. The meeting provided a platform for CP Group to engage directly with local farm owners, exchanging ideas and exploring innovations in areas such as feed supply, advanced farming technologies, and market expansion strategies.

Chairman Go Kwon-jin of Jejuyangdon Nonghyup emphasized the importance of such collaborations, noting that partnerships with international leaders like CP Group, facilitated by Lanic Korea, could propel Jeju’s pig farming industry to new levels of success. CEO Oh Se-Hyun of Lanic Korea underscored the company's commitment to fostering global agricultural cooperation, positioning Jeju as a key player in sustainable farming practices.
Local farm owners shared their expertise on Jeju’s traditional pig farming methods and explored ways to collaborate with CP Group on enhancing production efficiency and expanding market access for Jeju Black Pig products. CP Group’s delegation expressed keen interest in Jeju’s agricultural potential and voiced optimism about future partnerships.
