Lanic Korea, led by CEO Oh Se-Hyun, along with a delegation of seven members, visited the CJ Feed Factory in Cambodia as part of their mission to explore agricultural cooperation and potential partnerships in the region. The task force, which includes representatives from Jeju's government, the farming sector, and key industry leaders, is actively working to expand agricultural ties between Jeju and Cambodia.
Key members of the delegation include officials from Jeju’s Eco-friendly Livestock Policy Division, Chairman Go Kwon-jin of the Jeju Pig Farmers' Cooperative, and CEO Oh Young-ik of Gilgal Agricultural Cooperative Corporation. They were joined by the local partner, C&K Korean Language Study Center, led by CEO Kim Young-soo, who is providing on-the-ground support.
During the visit, the delegation toured CJ's advanced feed manufacturing facilities and discussed collaboration opportunities that would complement their ongoing efforts to establish a Jeju Black Pig farm in Cambodia. Both parties explored ways to leverage CJ’s expertise in animal feed production to enhance livestock farming in Cambodia and improve the supply chain for agricultural products.
The visit to CJ Feed Factory is part of a broader effort to solidify agricultural cooperation between Jeju and Cambodia, furthering the goals set during the Jeju-Phnom Penh exchange agreement signed in June 2024.
Both Jeju and Cambodian stakeholders expressed optimism about future collaboration, recognizing the potential for sustainable agricultural development and strengthened economic ties.
